In 2021 and 2022, we donated over $2 million dollars to trail-based non-profits and IMPACT programs that are tirelessly working to protect outdoor spaces.
Through our grant program, dozens of organizations were able to earn funds to fuel their efforts.

When Do Applications Open Again?
The next round of applications will be for our 2023 grants, TBD on exact dates. To sign up for updates on when the grant reopens, please email twoforthetrails@athleticbrewing.com!
Who can apply?
Anyone! We encourage any registered LLC with an environmental clean up project to apply for our grant. While being a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit helps, it is not required.
Does support from Athletic end at receiving funds?
Certainly not. We love getting our hands dirty, extra hooray if you can support Athletic teammates as volunteers for a clean up day. We’d also love to provide or hand out our beer at environmental events you may have planned.
Does my project have to be specifically for trails?
While the program is titled “Two For The Trails”, we are excited to expand further than just trails, to beaches, waterways, parks, even urban areas in need of outdoor maintenance. We strive to make the outdoors available and safe for everyone.
What are some examples of past grant projects?
I am located outside of the US, can I apply?
Yes, while priority is given to markets in which we distribute, we do not limit the locations of our charitable giving.
Can previous recipients apply?
Yes, and we encourage you to do so.
If I receive funding, does the project need to be completed this year?
We can’t wait to see all that can be accomplished in 2022! The application will ask for a detailed timeline of the project, and those with a sooner completion date will take priority.
